About me

PORTRAIT_edited.jpg

Guided by a deep curiosity about the world around us, I first built a career in forestry and environmental sciences, earning a Master’s degree and working for nearly ten years in Finland and Canada. I loved learning about natural systems and the delicate relationships that sustain their balance. It is through understanding that we become more aware of the impact of our actions on these natural systems, and can better respect and nurture their resilience.

I am Canadian, fluent in French and English, and have lived and traveled across several continents (the Americas, Asia, and Europe). These experiences offered me a deeper understanding of the diversity of human cultures and taught me to meet others in their uniqueness — with respect, openness, and curiosity.

I've always naturally felt this same curiosity toward the human experience: our inner worlds, our relationships, our strengths and vulnerabilities. This interest grew over time to take an increasingly central place in my life, which led me to train in humanistic psychotherapy to better understand the universal mechanisms that shape us and the conditions that foster well-being and growth.

My psychotherapy training

  • Trained in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT, developed by Carl Rogers) – Institut de Formation et de Recherche pour le Développement de la Personne (IFRDP)

  • Trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT, developed by Leslie Greenberg) – Institut Français de Thérapie Centrée sur les Émotions (IFTCE)

  • Module on Empathic Attunement in EFT – IFTCE

  • Module on EFT for Couples – IFTCE

Both PCT and EFT are well-established humanistic approaches, developed over several decades and practised internationally. They are grounded in solid scientific and clinical foundations, and have demonstrated their effectiveness in helping people better understand their emotions, transform inner blockages, and build more authentic, fulfilling relationships.

My core values

  • Each person is the best positioned to know themselves deeply.

  • Everyone holds within them the resources to meet life’s challenges and to thrive.

  • Every emotional state has meaning and value, carrying essential information for personal growth.

  • My practice is guided by respect, empathy, authenticity, and non-judgment.

I deeply believe that even in moments of vulnerability, each person carries within them a capacity for transformation. My role is to offer a safe and compassionate space where that potential can emerge.

Finally, my personal experience as a mother and partner enriches my sensitivity to relational dynamics, the adjustments of couple life, and the profound transformations that accompany parenthood.
